New Product Launch | Saimai Test & Measurement's 9kHz-45GHz RSG3745 RF Signal Generator Now Available!
2025-09-24
With the rapid advancement of wireless technology, testing challenges are growing increasingly complex—from millimeter-wave communications to advanced radar systems. Saimai Measurement & Control officially launches the new RSG3745 RF Signal Source! This high-performance PXIe microwave signal source features a wide frequency range (9kHz–45GHz), low phase noise (<−105dBc/Hz@40GHz), and a large output power dynamic range (−120dBm to 10dBm). Serving as a versatile RF simulation source, it is suitable for laboratory, production, and field testing applications across wireless communications, aerospace, and radar testing sectors.
The RSG3745 will make its international debut at the European Microwave Week (EUMW) in Utrecht, Netherlands, from September 23-25, 2025. As one of Europe's most influential microwave and RF technology events, EUMW will feature a comprehensive showcase of the RSG3745 by Semy Test & Measurement.

Key Specifications
The RSG3745 RF signal source covers frequencies from 9kHz to 45GHz, addressing the vast majority of testing scenarios. It supports high-precision frequency stepping of 0.01Hz to meet stringent frequency adjustment requirements. Featuring a dual-slot 2U PXIe modular compact design, it enables easy multi-channel expansion based on the PXI architecture. Each channel offers independent frequency and power adjustment, making it a cost-effective modular microwave analog signal source.

Addressing Diverse Testing Needs
The RSG3745 RF signal source delivers ultra-wide frequency coverage (9kHz–45GHz), meeting cutting-edge technology requirements for 5G NR, satellite communications, microwave, and millimeter-wave radar while providing a stable signal source for test systems.
Excellent phase noise and non-harmonic spurious performance ensure the RSG3745 excels in applications like receiver sensitivity testing, blocking tests, and intermodulation distortion testing, making it an ideal simulated interference source.
Supports multiple modulation types including amplitude modulation (AM), frequency modulation (FM), and pulse modulation, enabling the RSG3745 to be applied across diverse scenarios from traditional broadcasting and wireless communications to modern radar testing;
Features a modular, compact design suitable for portable applications while also facilitating easy channel expansion within PXI systems. Supports multi-channel synchronization with up to 8 channels per system, each with independently adjustable frequency and power.
High Cost-Performance Design
Unlike traditional high-end signal generators characterized by bulkiness and high power consumption, the RSG3745 balances performance with practicality:
• Compact structure for effortless deployment in laboratories, production lines, and system integration environments;
• Low-power energy-efficient design with superior thermal management and minimal noise, ensuring long-term stable operation and effectively controlling overall operating costs.
