New Product Release|Symmetric Measurement Controls Introduces New Series of Precision Source Measurement Units (SMUs)

Sematic Measurement and Control released four precision source measurement unit SMUs, which are PXIe modular SMU products with high accuracy and sensitivity. Combined with the highly integrated and easily expandable features of the PXI platform, they are capable of integrating up to 68 SMU channels in a single system, easily realising the demand for high channel density.

Product Details
The released PXIe precision source measurement unit (SMU) features wide power range, high measurement accuracy and high measurement speed, which can meet most of the DC test requirements. It also supports traditional SMU SCPI commands for easy test code migration.

Wider Power Range
The maximum output power is up to 20 W. It is capable of generating pulses of up to 500 W, which enables IV characterisation of high-power devices and effectively reduces the self-heating effect of the device under test (DUT).

Higher Accuracy
The SMU4212 is capable of high-precision measurements at 10fA current resolution, accurately measuring the weak currents of devices for characterisation and performance evaluation. Each SMU has a different resolution to meet the needs of different scenarios.

Flexible Product Options
A variety of SMUs are available, covering different channel counts, measurement accuracy, measurement ranges, and so on. And each SMU has a variety of output modes and measurement function configuration options, which can be flexibly set and adjusted according to the test requirements.
