Semi-mile Measurement & Control's Self-Developed VNA Series: Empowered by Technological Breakthroughs, Adapted to Diverse RF Testing Needs
2025-12-05
Semi-mile Measurement & Control Technology Co., Ltd.'s self-developed vector network analyzer (VNA) series products, SNA3308 and SNA3308U, have successfully won the “E-Horse Leading New Product Award” at the 2025 Hard Technology Industry Awards. Leveraging PXI quad-port core technology, these instruments have become representative of domestic PXI test and measurement equipment through their product strength and application value.

As core equipment for RF testing, the technological breakthroughs of the SNA3308 and SNA3308U series directly address the industry's core demands.

Their PXI-based quad-port design overcomes the limitations of traditional VNAs in port count and integration, laying the hardware foundation for multi-channel RF testing. Performance-wise, the series covers a broad frequency range of 10MHz to 8.5GHz with a dynamic range up to 125dB. It precisely captures RF performance details of critical components like cables, PCBs, filters, and RF front-end modules, meeting stringent high-frequency, high-sensitivity testing standards. This delivers “full-performance” technical support for electronics, communications, and related industries.
Beyond technical breakthroughs, the product excels in scenario adaptability. To address diverse user needs, Saimei Test & Control offers two form factors for this series: PXIe modular and portable designs, achieving “flexible multi-scenario coverage.” The PXIe modular version adopts a standard 3U design, compressing a 4-channel VNA into just two slots. This effectively saves instrument space and reduces costs, making it ideal for scenarios requiring high integration and automated testing. It significantly boosts testing efficiency and offers easy scalability.

Meanwhile, Saimei's DiFEM testing solution, based on its proprietary multi-port VNA (vector network analyzer), revolutionizes testing workflows with breakthrough technology, achieving a true “win-win” in both testing efficiency and cost control. SemiMei Control's STP8000-D Filter/DiFEM Tester centers on the company's proprietary SNA3308 network analyzer, paired with a PPMU and customizable PortModule framework. This configuration enables end-to-end testing encompassing DC+MIPI Function+S-parameters+switching time. The PXIe communication architecture also facilitates future expansion to multiple sites.
Moving forward, Saimei Test Control will continue to focus on iterating RF testing technologies, introducing more high-end equipment tailored to industry needs. This will help the domestic electronics industry reduce costs and improve efficiency in testing, propelling China's hard technology from “catching up” to “leading the pack.”
